I asked my partner what to do for the prompt “swing” and he suggested a pendulum. This one is a bit messy and I didn’t spend too long, but I think it’s quite useful having to think about perspective when you’re just sketching as opposed to really studying it.

Inktober 2019 – Day 7: Enchanted
So many options for this one! I really liked it as a prompt word. Last year I did a drawing of a mushroom for the prompt “poisonous” and wanted a point of comparison for this year. So here we are, enchanted toadstools.
Inktober 2019 – Day 6: Husky
I tried to spent a little bit longer on today’s drawing since I’ve rushed them over the last two days. I went to Norway a couple of years ago and was lucky enough to go dog sledding, so when I saw the prompt word it reminded me of snowy loveliness.

I really struggled with Inktober today. I’ve never had artist block quite so bad before. At first I tried drawing a pile of Lego, then a treehouse, and finally settled on a little nest. Inktober 2019 – Day 4: Freeze
A quick one today while I watch a The Dog House. I’ve been putting it off because I usually get far too emotional with anything dog related. But actually it’s so joyous and pure. I just love dogs.
