I really struggled with Inktober today. I’ve never had artist block quite so bad before. At first I tried drawing a pile of Lego, then a treehouse, and finally settled on a little nest.
I think drawing small and sticking to limited materials really helped.
Maybe I’ll try to invest a bit more time in tomorrow’s piece to feel more proud. I suppose the important thing is just that there’s something on the paper.
I like your nest. Very creative. I agree that keeping things small and simple really helps. I’m doing all my Inktober drawings on a 1/2-sheet of paper from my 9 x 12 sketchbook. It feels really good. I don’t have to worry about filling up a big sheet of paper.

That’s a great idea. I always use a small sketchbook but could have been considering doing a postcard dress or maybe stamp size
