Inktober 2019 – Day 10: Pattern

I’m afraid today is another quick one. It was date night and I worked late so didn’t have a lot of energy to give. It started as a little doodle but I decided it started to look like a frame or stage, so added some very lazy curtains.

Inktober 2019 – Day 9: Swing

I asked my partner what to do for the prompt “swing” and he suggested a pendulum. This one is a bit messy and I didn’t spend too long, but I think it’s quite useful having to think about perspective when you’re just sketching as opposed to really studying it.

Inktober 2019 – Day 8: Frail

Super quick one today. In fact, I think I did the same prompt for a word a year or so ago.

Inktober 2019 – Day 7: Enchanted

So many options for this one! I really liked it as a prompt word. Last year I did a drawing of a mushroom for the prompt “poisonous” and wanted a point of comparison for this year. So here we are, enchanted toadstools.

I really struggled with Inktober today. I’ve never had artist block quite so bad before. At first I tried drawing a pile of Lego, then a treehouse, and finally settled on a little nest.
