Inktober 2021 – Day 12

Challenges, Digital, inktober

We’re keeping with the cosy theme. I’m always prone to wanting to add more and more details, but my partner prefers the simple, clean style, so this one is for him.
I actually recently converted him to being a slipper lover, although his don’t have ears.

Inktober 2021 – Day 11

Challenges, Digital, inktober

This is another recreation of an old Inktober drawing from 2019, I’ve been enjoying doing that this year. Often Inktober sketches are done so quickly so it’s nice to give the designs a bit more love.
Fittingly, today was the first day that I wore a scarf so I felt very, very autumnal.

Inktober 2021 – Day 9

Challenges, Digital, inktober

Today is a very quick sketch because I’ve got a full weekend planned, Here are three little pumpkin friends hanging out in the forest.
Everyone at work is planning on going to a pumpkin patch to choose their pumpkin. I’ve never been to one, but maybe this year?

Inktober 2021 – Day 8

Challenges, Digital, inktober

We’re moving away from some spooky themes to slip into some small autumnal cosiness.
It took me about 3 attempts to finish a hot chocolate design. I don’t know why, I just couldn’t get it right, This one isn’t perfect but I think it’s the best of the attempts.

Inktober 2021 – Day 7

Challenges, Digital, inktober

We’ve gone gory again today. Here’s another creepy cocktail – a Bloody Mary this time.

I’ve enjoyed not using a prompt this year because I’ve had more opportunity to play around with different themes and styles. Having said that, it is always easier having a bit of guidance – I’m flagging slightly on new ideas and it’s only been a week!

I do have a rough plan though. I’ll be mixing up the more Halloweeny themes with some other winter-inspired drawings and MAYBE even mixing it up with digital and traditional media. In the meantime, let me know which you prefer, creepy or cute?
