Hello lovely people of the world!
I’m Julia, and I started blogging about my art in October 2016 as a tool to motivate myself to keep practising art, and to improve. Since then, I’ve come a long way (you can see for yourself) and have started selling my designs online as prints and other items.
Finishing university and working full time meant rethinking how I use my time. I’m sure many people can relate to the frustration that comes when you don’t feel like you’re doing all the things you want to do in life. Since art has always been something I’ve loved, but sometimes struggled to make the time for, I wanted to have a place where I could easily track my progress to keep me motivated and engaged. In 2020/2021, the various lockdowns in the UK provided the space for me to step back and reflect on what I wanted to do more of, and that’s when I started to get serious enough about my art to sell it online, in stores and at craft fairs. No one can say that period of time was easy, but this has been one glimmer of positivity that came out of it for me.
I hope you enjoy browsing through this site and my Etsy.

Hello Julia… you have a beautiful smile 🙂 Looking forward to seeing your choice or creation of art.

Thank you so much! Having a little reminder is so helpful – I’ve totally been absorbed by work but you’ve given me a little reminder to post an update. I’ll try to do that this weekend 🙂 I hope you’re well! I’ll catch up with your posts too xxx

Are you a shapeshifter or two people merged into one?…or did you just color your hair and look different with your face in a cat’s fur? 😛

Looking forward to seeing your art – whenever you can share. Time or lack of time is definitely an issue for me too. Good luck!
