Inktober 2017: Day 8 – Crooked

Here we go!

I started it on the train home but there was waaay too much movement so it just wasn’t working. Again, today was a no-coliur piece. Yesterday I wasn’t totally happy with the bark, and when I hear the word “crooked” I immediately think of a creepy autumn tree, so I thought it was a good chance to practice. I’m still not really happy with it, but it’ll do for my entry today.

Happy Sunday everyone! I hope you’re all relaxing and drinking endless tea.

Ever since I was a child, I've loved art. I could do it for hours and hours and hours. Over the years I've fallen back in love with art and now design and sell digital and watercolour pieces.

    1. Thank you! We all have different strengths. Trees are one of the few things I feel relatively confident in, but only because I’ve focused on practising those especially. I want to get better at buildings and more realistic figures (slouching etc.)

      1. ๐Ÿ™‚ Yes practice is very important and thatโ€™s something I should really work on. Hopefully the inktober challenge will get me into the habit of drawing more often thus improving my skills ๐Ÿ™‚
