I had a long day today so this was much just a quick sketch. I was feeling like all of my store fronts were looking kinda samey, so here we have a Hobbit house instead! Let’s pretend that it’s a shop front because they’re selling homemade bread.

Inktober 2020 – Day 7
A late one today. I started this morning before work but had to rush it a bit. I always like it more when I start Inktober earlier in the morning. But the whole point is getting something done in the day, so it doesn’t really matter when it’s posted I suppose.

I’m really enjoying playing around with the signs on these shops. Today was another freehand without a ruler. I do prefer the look of straight lines, but today was a long work day and I didn’t have much time left before bed to get this done. I still find Inktober really therapeutic. I had a lovely weekend with friends. Work is going to be heavy this week (/month) so I’m so glad I got to have some time away.
