I was clearing out a load of old art GCSE coursework today. It’s sad to get rid of so much stuff that I put so much thought and time into, but I can’t keep hold of everything.
It’s useful to look back on old work and get reinsured though. I totally forgot that I used to do tissue paper background washes and negative spaces with ink. I feel so motivated to get stuck in to some newer pieces using the same techniques.
Today’s Inktober is a mini version of the kind of thing I did, though more doodle-y.
