Final day! It’s a big it rushed but doesn’t matter, the whole challenge is done and dusted for another year.
I’m actually going to quite miss doing the challenge, that sense of achievement when at least one drawing a day is done you feel like you’ve always at least achieved that in the day.
Super rushed, pen running out but hey ho, day 30 done!
When I saw “jolt” I thought coffee, but then thought of one better, espresso martini!
The next couple of days might be harder to finish my inktober, I’m in the middle of moving all of my stuff to the flat. I’ve DEFINITELY overpacked for one train journey.
Here’s Molly with a little puppy we met over the summer, and here’s the original picture:
My pens are running out but it’s gonna be a while before I can get another set. It’s quite exciting when you have a need to get new art stuff, otherwise I always feel like I can’t justify the money otherwise.
Perfect prompt word today. Yesterday was my last day at my current centre before I move. I’ve been there for three years and it’s a role focused on people. I was fortunate enough to work with lots of lovely people and received flowers, chocolates, cards and more.
Here’s a sketch from the bouquet.
Today was my last day at the current centre I work at. Here’s my late, low commitment, slightly tipsy sketch for ‘Thunder’.
When I read the prompt word, I thought of my dog stretching up to greet you. This was based on a photo from her first birthday.
My pen started running out so I promise I wasn’t just being lazy with the shading.

It doesn’t really look like it, but it’s meant to look like a chopping board with some bruschetta type things on it.
Update – I don’t think this actually posted on day 16! Here’s a bonus Inktober for you then.
A quick one today.
I was going to go with a muddy lolita-style dress, but it quickly turned into a horror scene. Just in time for Halloween eh?
